Buzz around the film had already begun in the entertainment industry, but Rafi himself fueled the excitement further by unexpectedly posting a monitor screenshot from the shooting set on social media.

Earlier, in a playful post, Rafi had written: “You all do official promotions. From tomorrow, I’ll start officially unofficial first leaks.” Soon after, actress Nazifa Tushi appeared on screen, sparking curiosity among fans and Dhallywood enthusiasts.

The leaked frame, with its cosmic-thriller and eerie atmosphere, showcased Tushi in a mesmerizing look. Captioning the image, Rafi wrote: “Andhar First Leak! A screenshot taken during shooting from the monitor. Not an official still, not a poster — just a moment.”

Praising Tushi, he added: “But this one frame clearly shows how extraordinary Nazifa Tushi looks in Andhar. You’ve seen her in many roles before, but here you’ll witness her most enchanting presence.”

According to the director, Tushi’s captivating look adds a new dimension to the film’s horror-thriller appeal.

The story of Andhar was developed by Shakib Chowdhury and Bassbaba Sumon, drawing from years of research on ghosts and mysteries and their experience with the popular radio show “Bhautist.” Later, Adnan Adib Khan joined in shaping the narrative.

The film features a star-studded cast including Siam Ahmed, Nazifa Tushi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Gazi Rakayet, Mostafa Monwar, and Tanzika Amin. Additionally, two young talents — Forrukh Ahmed Rehan and Swarnali Chaiti — will make their big-screen debut through this project.
