In an interview with the media, Sanjay opened up about the struggles behind his success. “Of course, there were obstacles. In the beginning, I had no idea about music production. I made terrible tracks, my friends got annoyed, and even my parents asked, ‘What are you making?’ But they encouraged me too. I never stopped because I loved music,” he said.

Sanjay recalled that music was his only passion. He wasn’t drawn to games or other interests, though he enjoyed watching football, especially during the World Cup. “But in the end, nothing felt bigger than music. I went through strange and difficult experiences, but I never thought of quitting. I believed music is a language that connects people, and leaving something behind through my work is my greatest inspiration,” he added.

Sharing his struggles, Sanjay revealed, “When I moved from Silicon Valley to Los Angeles, I couldn’t even afford rent. My parents didn’t know. For five years, I slept on the floor of my apartment just to save a few hundred dollars for music. I sold my beats for $100–$150 to survive. Looking back, the journey feels incredible. I loved music then, and I love it just as much today.”

Sanjay gained global attention with “Sirr Sirr” alongside Nora Fatehi at the World Cup stage, followed by their track “Champion”, which he wrote, composed, and produced.
